Job Description

Our client in the IT industry is currently looking for an Agile Project Manager, in South Africa.Responsibilities:

• Driving initiatives through all phases i.e. obtaining requirements/user stories, driving the solution process to completion, driving the development of each component as defined by the solution, driving the testing of initiatives as they become available (which includes functional-; regression- and performance testing) and assisting with the production changes and deployments.
• Drive business case.
• Release management (with agile, monthly releases are conducted)
• Finances which include budget creation, approval, management, and monthly forecasting; as well as raising purchase orders for external vendors and time booking of project resources.
• Facilitating daily stand-ups, identifying project risks, issues, or blockers, and eliminating these for delivery to not be halted/impacted.
• Project prioritization in conjunction with Product Owner, implementing priorities, driving development and releases accordingly.
• Resource planning, allocation, and upskilling Stakeholder management by regularly communicating to all external Stakeholders on planning as well as progress Plan and conduct Scrum ceremonies.

• SAFe Certification and experience essential.
• Project Management Certification and experience essential.
• AGILE Project Management experience essential.
• Scrum Master Certification and experience essential.
• Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Project skills essential.
• Financial Services experience preferred.
• Project Management.
• Agile Methodology.
• Scrum Master.
• Technical background of preferably JAVA.

• R 80 000 - R 140 000 dependent on experience.
