A thorough knowledge of the SA and international grape market and a network of people in the SA grape sector would be an advantage
Sales experience
The ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at both senior and operational levels.
Experience in product development
An understanding of paper bag manufacturing and industrial packaging is an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Sales
Achieve sales growth, at required margins, in line with the the company Agri bag strategy South Africa
Maintain relationships with South African packers and agents and grow the sales of paper Agri bags into these sectors
Expand the SA Agri bags business to new customers including the Northern Cape and other regions
Establish the company as a trusted supplier of choice in the SA market International
Interact with international retailers and the companys Europe team to establish paper bags as a product of choice for Agri packaging
Form relationships and get orders for paper Agri bags to supply international distributors of Agri bags, both for packing in South Africa and for export to other countries, as agreed.
Customer service/fulfilment
Understand and work within the companys capability to meet promised customer order fulfilment and service levels.
Work with the company operations and management teams to develop and implement a business operation and capacity that promotes year-long manufacture
Establish and maintain clear and structured customer service agreements that enable the company to effectively meet customer requirements.
Product Innovation
Develop and promote product innovation and customer testing and acceptance in the company product offerings
Drive and facilitate product verification and marketing material to get market acceptance of new Agri products
