Job Description

Sovereign is a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets and has operations in five provinces. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and skilled candidates for this position within the Agriculture Division, based at the Gauteng operations. The successful applicant will report directly to the Financial and Supply Chain Manager. The position will be responsible for balancing the supply chain between Rearing, Laying and up to Hatchery, plan the slaughter program and analyze production parameters from broiler performance KPI's. The job holder must have a NQF Level 6 tertiary qualification in supply chain or equivalent, 3-4 years' experience in analysing data and supply planning must be highly computer literate.Results Required

• Interact daily to balance supply and capacity between Process Plant and Broiler operations.
• Develop and maintain the slaughter program from the model agreed upon by Exco.
• Track and report on changes in the slaughter plan to establish trends for non-performance.
• Develop and maintain the breeder requirements from the model agreed upon by Exco.
• Analyze daily KPI's of Agri to establish trends or emerging trends.
• Come up with ideas and suggestions after liaising/consulting with operational, Exco and Vet to try and improve performance and or save costs.
• Ensure the data capturing requirements are met.
• Ensure the quality of data authentic.
• Liaise closely with farm management where trials are conducted whilst taking ownership of data collection.
