• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or a related field (master's degree or CA(SA) preferred).
• Min 5 years' experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business controlling.
• Must have a strong TRADE ACCOUNTING background preferably from the Agri Industry
• A US CPA or US GAAP qualification or experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Trade Accounting:

• Responsibility for the accuracy of trade accounting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for management reporting.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support trading units with insights into return on working capital and profitability, seeking opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company.
• Review and approve payments and credit notes.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Business Partnering:

• Act as a finance partner to various business units, providing financial insights and guidance.
• Support operational and strategic initiatives with financial expertise and an understanding of trading economics.

Process Improvement:

• Obtain a deep understanding of all the systems and processes of the trading, operations and finance teams in order to understand and be able to advise on best practice.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in trade accounting and operations as well as the operations and trading operations what impact trade accounting.
• Lead and participate in projects to enhance financial systems and processes.
