Responsibility for the accuracy of trade accounting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for management reporting.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Support trading units with insights into return on working capital and profitability, seeking opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company.
Review and approve payments and credit notes.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
Business Partnering:
Act as a finance partner to various business units, providing financial insights and guidance.
Support operational and strategic initiatives with financial expertise and an understanding of trading economics.
Process Improvement:
Obtain a deep understanding of all the systems and processes of the trading, operations and finance teams in order to understand and be able to advise on best practice.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in trade accounting and operations as well as the operations and trading operations what impact trade accounting.
Lead and participate in projects to enhance financial systems and processes.
