Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Agronomist - Quality Receiving Manager for our client in the agriculture industry. This is a challenging and rewarding position that will involve ensuring the quality of incoming raw materials and managing the receiving process.The Agronomist - Quality Receiving Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality control of harvested crops, working closely with farmers to ensure compliance with quality standards, and managing the receiving process at the facility.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming raw materials
• Inspect and test harvested crops for adherence to quality standards
• Collaborate with farmers to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Manage the receiving process, including weighing, grading, and documentation
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy
• Train and mentor staff in quality control procedures
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or a related field
• Proven experience in vegetables growing, grading and quality control
• Proven experience in quality control and receiving in the agriculture industry
• Food and Safety/FMCG Industry experience
• Strong knowledge of crop quality standards and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in using computerized systems for inventory management
