An opportunity has arisen in the Air Solutions Department for a self-driven and motivated individual who will be responsible for the following:Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and driven individual to lead our Air Solutions Sales team. This role is responsible for managing sales of our Air Solutions products, ensuring steady and profitable growth in sales revenue through effective planning, deployment, and management of the sales team.Purpose:

  • Lead the sales of Air Solutions products.
  • Ensure consistent and profitable sales growth through strategic planning and team management.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement strategic and business plans for the sales market.
  • Strategize and manage the sales process, including forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research, and brand strategy.
  • Analyze performance indicators of stores and partners against company goals and lead the team to improve business outcomes.
  • Expand existing market channels and identify new target contractors and consultants.
  • Prepare and execute a sales strategy to achieve growth in both local and export markets.
Monitoring Profit:
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Lead the Air Solutions sales team to achieve growth.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to reach their full potential.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to review performance and forecasts for each region.
  • Review distributor performance periodically and address gaps in performance.
  • Hold regular meetings with distributors and the sales team to discuss performance, training, and strategy.
  • Update management on business processes, operating plans, financial models, and profitability.
Market Share:
  • Conduct effective and accurate market research to increase sales.
  • Analyze sales trends and develop strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated with market and industry trends, competitors, and customer strategies.
  • Identify new applications or products to increase sales.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities.
  • Support the sales team with marketing activities, product launches, promotions, advertising campaigns, and exhibitions.
Sales Forecasting:
  • Ensure forecasting aligns with sales planning.
  • Continuously strive to minimize forecasting error rates.
  • Ensure acceptable LTI levels based on sales performance.
  • Accurately compile monthly and yearly sales forecasts.
Project Management:
  • Maintain a healthy project pipeline for the assigned market.
  • Follow up on projects from access to specification, tender, decision-making, and pricing.
  • Ensure projects are listed and registered on the company's B2B system.
  • Monitor project progress and discuss during weekly pipeline meetings.
Pricing:
  • Negotiate pricing to drive sales.
  • Stay updated on market developments and competitors' pricing.
  • Keep pricing relevant to brand perception.
Reporting:
  • Communicate sales performance against targets.
  • Highlight key variances and adjust sales plans and forecasts accordingly.
  • Report on forecast accuracy and inventory plans against targets.
Budget Setting:
  • Assist with setting annual sales targets for the team and coastal distributors.
  • Monitor and adjust targets as needed.
Required Experience:
  • 5-10 years of retail sales and sales management experience.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office at an advanced level.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Required Competencies:
  • Exceptional sales skills and the ability to switch consumers from competitors.
  • Strong understanding of consumer buying behavior in consumer electronics.
  • Negotiation skills to secure support for sales promotions and best displays.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide the sales team.
  • Honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Persistence, creativity, and ability to function under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Studies.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in local sales and export management in HVAC.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
Cultural Diversity:
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and provide guidance across various cultures and education levels.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams such as dealers, customer support, services, sales, marketing, finance, etc.
Travel Requirements:
  • Quarterly nationwide travel.
  • Monthly export country travel.
  • International travel as required.
