Job PurposeThe Procurement Manager lead the company's procurement function, developing and executing strategic procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, overseeing procurement budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reporting on procurement metrics to senior management, with the primary goal of optimizing cost-effectiveness and efficiency across all purchases made by the company; responsible for all aspects of acquiring goods and services for the organization.Principal Accountabilities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent at NQF level 7
• Honours degree an advantage
• Project Management diploma an advantage
• Microsoft Office, ERP Systems, e.g. SAP, Oracle
• At least ten years experience in a leadership position in Procurement of which at least five years would have been at a senior management or executive level, preferably in the FMCG industry

Knowledge and Skills

• Advanced knowledge of the PFMA Act
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
