Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

Job Description
Our client is seeking an Ammonia Refrigerator Technician to service, maintain, and operate refrigeration plants. Based in Klein Karoo, Western Cape.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficient refrigeration plants operating at optimal levels
- Heat exchangers chilling the water to temperatures at correct flow rates as per setting
- Cold storage rooms maintaining the required temperatures
- Artisan - Industrial Refrigeration Trade Test. (Other trade qualification acceptable when supported with the appropriate refrigeration training and experience.)
- Certified to work in ammonia refrigeration plants
- 5 years experience in ammonia refrigeration plants and relevant equipment
- 5 years experience in Freon refrigeration systems, including air conditioning systems (service and installation)
- Must have well established electric knowledge and skills especially on control circuits
- Must work well in a multi-disciplinary team
- Must have a working knowledge of planned maintenance systems
