Our client is a leading financial services company based in Cape Town. With a focus on providing innovative solutions and services to a national network of advisors, they are committed to driving transformation and embracing diversity in their workforce.As an Application Development Manager, you will lead a dynamic team in developing and maintaining the in-house CRM platform used across the organization. This senior role requires a strong technical background in C# and .NET, as well as experience in managing and mentoring a team. You will work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives.Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of the CRM platform and client-facing portals.
• Oversee the integration of Apple and Android apps with the CRM system.
• Collaborate with external software development partners to enhance the software stack.
• Drive the transformation of the software architecture towards microservices.
• Ensure code quality through efficient, well-documented, and secure programming practices.
• Implement DEVOPS practices to industrialize solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, business analysts, and testers.
• Engage with business stakeholders to assess and validate development requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of technical experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
• Extensive experience in C# and .NET development.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, preferably with custom-built platforms.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Knowledge of wealth management and financial services industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Cape Town, with no relocation allowance provided.
