PermanentThe Application Development Manager will lead a team of 20+ individuals, in the financial services sector, on their CRM platform development efforts, including client-facing portals and Apple/Android apps. The role involves managing the development process within a C# microservices architecture, collaborating with external software development partners, and ensuring the platform meets the business's technical and functional requirements.Minimum Requirements:
8+ years in software development roles, particularly within the financial services industry.
A relevant tertiary qualification
Experience in CRM and client portal solutions
Experience in Agile / Scrum
Expert C# development experience
Expert understanding of the software development process
Good negotiation ability
PHP knowledge is beneficialDuties and Responsibilities:
Design and development of CRM platform components, including client-facing portals and mobile applications for Apple and Android.
Work within a C# microservices architecture, driving the transformation of the existing software stack.
Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle
Develop clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code, with a strong focus on performance optimization.
Ensure the security of code and make informed decisions when handling sensitive data.
Refine solutions using DEVOPS practices to enhance industrialization.
Provide guidance and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and testers, while maintaining strong relationships with external software development partners.
Apply modern coding practices and actively suggest and implement process improvements.
Maintain a customer-centric approach when interacting with users of the CRM platform.
Collaborate with business analysts to assess and validate development requirements from stakeholders before moving into the development phase.
