A well-established company in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking a young engineer to join their Technical Sales department.This role focuses on supporting sales representatives with technical expertise regarding the company's productsBased at the Centurion Head Office, you will also travel to client sites (3-4 days at a time with company transport provided) to deliver pump system solutions tailored to client requirements.This is a fast-paced role offering opportunities to develop proposals for complex, variable scenarios in a growing organization.Requirements:

• B.Eng / BSc.Eng / BEng Tech / BTech degree in Mechanical / Process / Chemical or Metallurgy Engineering.
• 0-2 years working experience
• Pump related experience will be advantageous
• Flexibility to travel as required based on the companys needs.
• Must display a strong mechanical and or process engineering ability.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Displays the ability to organize and maintain various files and sheets.
• Excellent experience with computers and software, especially MS Word and Excel.
• Capable of communicating to a technical or non-technical audience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires an energetic and driven employee that is a self-starter who can take ownership of all technical related aspects of his area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to best meet the customers needs.
• Compile technical reports and proposals.
• Guide customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product.
• Provides first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications.
• On-site assistance with commissioning of products.
• Do system analysis and fault finding on-site and compile reports with the necessary solutions and root cause analysis.
• Assist Sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients.
• Required to meet or exceed Customer Support standards on a consistent basis.
