Application Support Analyst – Hospitality & Tourism Industry – Sandton

Job Description

Log and manage incidents, problems, and changes via the Service Management System.



Provide application, database, and system support.



Troubleshoot SQL and front-end application issues.



Optimize system performance and proactively address potential issues.



Maintain and support integrations between core applications, APIs, and third-party systems.



Develop and modify SQL/SSRS reports and Power BI workspaces.



Work closely with DBAs and vendors to implement solutions.



Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security across databases and applications.



Participate in system upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.



Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.



5+ years' experience in application support and/or database administration.



Proficiency in MS SQL Server, SQL queries, and database management.



Strong knowledge of SQL Reporting Services, Apply Below, APIs, Web Services, and XML.



Experience in data cleaning, analysis, and exploration.



Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
