Job Description


Motus IT Applications Team is currently looking for a permanent Applications Implementation Consultant & Team Leader for Aftersales. The person will be responsible for understanding business requirements and act as the primary point of contact for a client and initiate implementation processes as quickly as possible.
Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Daily EOD success failure monitoring
  • Offer expert support to the applications service desk consultants (escalations)
  • Communicate to key department stakeholder's (project work)
  • Gather user and or business requirements for enhancement changes or improvements
  • Draft user requirement documents and user test cases
  • Document business requirements for enhancement changes or improvements
  • Monitor Development progress and communicate the same to stakeholders
  • Communicate business requirements for enhancement changes or improvements
  • Test developments and communicate feedback until completion
  • Implement business requirements for enhancement changes or improvements
  • Pilot business requirements for enhancement changes or improvements
  • Scope and setup of new business solutions
  • Manage implementation timelines and communicate deviations
  • User training new business and or continuous improvements
  • Update training documentation and engage with training department or update the platform as required
  • Document all required changes as per company requirement (signed off change request forms)
  • Identify, highlight and escalate project risks to stakeholders
  • Collaboratively work to improve system / user performance while mitigating risks
  • Work to ensure system and data accuracy and integrity
  • Report and escalate system failures and / or data integrity issues
  • Promote and encourage logging of calls
  • Follow policies and standards in place by Motus and report non-compliance of the same
  • Daily time management and call resolutions (update calendar)
  • Prioritise other departmental requests without neglecting consultant work
  • Promote team culture
  • Cross train and upskill peers and / or support consultants
  • Regular project status updates
  • Complete projects succesfully in time, within budget
  • Regular management feedback on all areas of work
  • Report Writing and format stationery
  • Travel to sites for extended periods during initiative piloting, user groups and or implementationsverall:
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience on DMS applications mandatory (Drive, Auto-Mate, Rev8)
  • 5 years experience in the Motor Industry trade and dealership (preferably in Aftersales)
  • Project management experience
  • Drive, Auto-Mate, Rev8, Microsoft Office suite
Skills and Personal Attributes

Understanding and experience in working on a service desk platform

Experience in an IT service environment is a plus
  • Hardworker who pays attention to detail and capable of dealing with difficult customers
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Be able to work in a team & communicate to & with team members & team leaders
  • Pay attention to Detail

  • Communicate efffectively with users
  • Should be able to work under pressure according to deadlines
  • Should be able to work overtime when required
