:Job Title: Applications Sales InternLocation: Woodmead, South AfricaProgram Duration: This internship is a 12-month program starting 1 April 2025.Eligibility: This internship is open to graduates who have not previously participated in an internship or held a permanent role for over 12 months. Incomplete applications will not be considered.Purpose of the RoleAs an Applications Sales Intern, your primary objective is to support the Apps Sales Team in driving demand generation, business development, and sales support activities. This role is key to helping expand Oracle's presence in the region, contributing to business growth, and enhancing the visibility of the brand.What you will do
  • Assist the sales team in identifying potential customers and new business opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Support demand generation efforts, including creating awareness of Oracle's ERP, CRM, and HCM solutions.
  • Participate in business development activities to help grow Oracle's application sales pipeline.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Apps Sales Team.
  • Help prepare presentations and reports for internal and external meetings.
  • Collaborate with team members across different business functions to ensure seamless sales processes.
  • Stay informed about technology trends and Oracle solutions to effectively support sales initiatives.
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to help drive deals forward.
Career Level - IC0Responsibilities:QualificationsMinimum: Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Information Systems, ICT, HR, Financial Systems, Accounting, BCom, or a related field.Desired ExperienceSkills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
  • Solution Knowledge: Basic understanding of ERP, CRM, or HCM solutions and their applications in a business setting.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative mindset, capable of working within a sales team and across various business functions.
  • Negotiation: Foundational negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Presentation: Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficient in using common office software and systems. Familiarity with technology trends and digital transformation is a plus.
  • Self-starter: Motivated, driven, and capable of working independently to achieve goals.
  • C-level Interaction: Ability to engage and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
