DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Apprentice- Engine Technician to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Segment in Postmasburg , Northern Cape, South Africa.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- By obtaining a nationally recognized and fully qualified Cummins Diesel Fitter qualification
- Bring your enquiring mind for resolving technical engine problems
- Contribute your enthusiasm, determination, positive attitude to an Apprentice Program that will grow your career
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and maintain a safe workplace and prevent incidents
- Strong Mechanical Knowledge, demonstrating knowledge of Cummins and industry standards, comply with safe work procedures and apply mechanical principles to diagnose and repair products safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Product Repair and Maintenance by efficiently repairing and maintaining mechanical products, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot and reassemble engines
- A Valid motor vehicle Drivers License to meet the job requirements
- A Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC) from a South African school system and a N2 (Nated certificate) with subjects passed in Engineering Drawing, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Diesel or Motor Trade Theory.
- A Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC) from a South African school system and a NCV Level 4 qualification
