Job Description
My client is a leader in the renewable energy space, is looking for an AR Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for payments, invoices, VAT returns, streamlining processes.The role offers a hybrid work environment and flexible working hours, if this peeks your interest, then apply ASAP!Responsibilities:
- Post payments and maintain accounts receivable in SAP system
- Verify and assign outgoing invoices and credit notes based on commercial and tax regulations
- Help with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, check realisation of sales revenue or individual value adjustments of receivables
- Prepare advance VAT returns, ZM and INTRASTAT returns for all tax reporting countries
- Assist with VAT case audits of cross-border business transactions liaise with sales department, logistics and external consultants
- Assist with optimizing processes, to improve systems
- Minimum of a completed Accounting or Finance qualification
- 3 years relevant practical experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
- Previous experience in SAP R/3, S/4HANA, ERP systems essential
- High attention to detail
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Proactive, team player
