Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop building designs for a variety of luxury projects.
• Produce architectural drawings and detailing for each project stage, ensuring compliance with design intent.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, interior designers, and external consultants.
• Ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation within assigned project teams.
• Attend and contribute to site meetings, track project milestones, and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Oversee quality control, from conceptual designs through to final construction details.
• Coordinate project cost estimates and maintain project budgets in collaboration with the client and consultants.
• Prepare comprehensive construction documentation for submissions and approvals.
• Adhere to and enforce architectural and design standards.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to stay current with design trends, software, and hospitality standards.

• Master's in Architecture (MArch) or Master's in Architectural Technology (MTech).
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally with exposure to site and/or hospitality projects.
• Registered with the relevant architectural board or eligible to work in South Africa.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, and the Adobe suite.

• Strong technical knowledge of construction and architectural design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in developing high-quality conceptual designs, floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality results, even under tight deadlines.
