We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draughtsman to join our teamResponsibilities:Create accurate and detailed architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements, providing input on technical feasibility and potential challenges.Develop and maintain a strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards to ensure compliance in all drawings.Prepare comprehensive sets of drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, for use in the construction and permitting process.Make adjustments to drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring that design intent is preserved while addressing practical considerations.Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines and project milestones, providing support during various phases of design and construction.Communicate effectively with architects, contractors, and other team members to address technical queries and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural drafting.RequirementsA degree or diploma in architectural drafting, architecture, or a related field.Proven experience as an Architectural Draughtsman, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and a solid understanding of drafting principles.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry advancements.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From R25 000,00 per monthApplication Question(s):What is your current salary?What is your notice period?Education:Diploma (Preferred)Experience:Revit: 3 years (Preferred)Draughtsman: 4 years (Preferred)
