The GIBB multi-disciplinary team sector designs mechanical, electrical, and public health systems required for safe, comfortable, sustainable, and energy-efficient installation and operation of modern buildings.We're looking for another talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Architectural Visualiser/Graphic Designer. We welcome your application if you believe you meet the requirements for this position.The below listed responsibilities and requirements will be assessed during the interview stages and will further be confirmed with the relevant professional references that you currently are or have reported to in your previous two positions.Core PurposeArchitectural Visualiser/Graphic Designer to support presentation requirements for our architectural practice and our 3 studios in Cape Town, Gqeberha, and Johannesburg. The position is based in our Johannesburg Studio.Key Performance Areas

• Preparation of architectural design presentations including rendering 2D content.
• Design and maintain architectural graphic design presentation templates.
• Design, production, and maintenance Company Profiles.
• Design and regularly maintain email signatures.
• Design of adverts for architectural and related magazines for company and/or project showcasing.
• Adhere and, when required, update Corporate Identity and relevant CI material.
• Maintain architecture project summary sheets.
• Prepare and extract relevant information from Revit and other Architectural design software.
• Support the Marketing Department with the design of marketing collateral (brochures, videos, still images, newsletters, executive presentations, invites, communiques, business cards, etc) for external marketing and in-house graphic design requirements.
• Support the Social Media Assistant with content production and platform management.
• Support to Architectural Design Studios graphic design requirements for project presentations.
• Printing, binding & mounting of presentation material & documents, and able to coordinate external printing and quality control when required.
• Basic level of video post-production.

Job RequirementsQualification:

• Degree in a creative field, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Interior Design or Architecture.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Architectural Visualiser/Graphic Designer, with at least 2 years of experience working for the Property or Architecture sectors.

Person RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Core Competencies

• Excellent knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
• Knowledge of other software such as Autodesk Revit, Twinmotion, Lumion, Enscape and/or 3D Studio Max will be an advantage.
• Excellent graphic design skill with understanding of property drivers and architectural presentations.
• Good understanding of design/architectural trends.
