Job Description
A Slurry Pump specialist based in Centurion is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving sales operations within a designated geographic region, with a focus on managing and motivating a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives. Key responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, developing effective sales strategies, and identifying new opportunities for business expansion. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and distributors will be crucial, as will monitoring sales performance and providing regular reports and insights to senior management.Education:
- BEng Mechanical
- BSc/BA Business Administration
- 3 years' experience in sales
- Build and nurture trust-based relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure their continued loyalty and prevent them from seeking alternatives
- Gain a deep understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients by consistently offering solutions that align with their objectives
- Ensure the timely delivery of correct products and services to customers
- Act as the primary communication link between key customers and internal teams
- Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly to maintain trust
- Contribute significantly to generating new sales that will lead to long-term client relationships
