Job Description


:

  • Implementation of company strategy and Operational Strategy within Stores
  • Drive the successful implementation of the customer journey philosophy and superior customer service
  • Effective demonstration of talent management through pro-active identification and selection of talent
  • Initiating and monitoring action to increase the profitability of the Area
  • Consistent delivery of all agreed KPI's including sales and profit growth and managing expenses-to-turnover ratio's
  • Ensuring that merchandise standards are maintained to the required standards within the stores
  • Ensuring that merchandise opportunities are maximized both in terms of managing existing store assortments and liaison with the Head Office Merchandise/ Operations departments for new opportunities
  • Manage expenses in line with net profit targets
  • Ensuring process compliance in stores, managing risk and stock loss
  • Leading, managing, motivating and developing the Store Managers
  • Ensuring optimum development of staff
  • Effectively managing employee performance
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures across Area / Stores
  • Active involvement in the development of new, revamped or relocation of stores
  • Regular travel
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A business or retail related degree will be advantageous.
  • 8 Years Retail (Minimum 4 years or more as a Store Manager)
  • Entrepreneurial flair (business acumen and turnover driven)
  • Valid Drivers License
