SUMMARY:
Area Manager in thexc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafGuarding Division based in Port Elizabeth.The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Security advice to clientsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Threat and Risk assessments/ Reporting.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Client liaison and professional client relationship.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Manpower management and rostering.
• Equipment management.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Ensure that contractual requirements are always met.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Incident and investigations Management.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Ensure compliance to the Companys disciplinary code.
• Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Ensure all company SOPS are followed;
• Health and Safety Management.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Ensure all BPC policies and procedures are always followed.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• After hours visits.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Ensure training take place when required.
• Assisting with shift changes as a standby manager.
• Must be able to attend meetings and take calls to assist with matter of urgency even on rest days.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practice covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems, integrity, and confidentiality.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf

POSITION INFO:Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf

• PSIRA certification - Grade A.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Firearm competency and a valid regulation 21 certificate is an advantage.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis, counter measures, and contingency arrangements relation to the serious disruption of IT services.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Knowledge of tools or systems which provides access security control (i.e.,xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafprevents authorized system access;)xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Must have confidence in dealing with the public.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Bilingual (English and any other South African Language).xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• The ability to work under pressure.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xafxc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• First aid and fire-fighting training will be advantageous.
• Excellent written &verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate and knowledge of MS office.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Must be willing to undergo polygraph test.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.xc3xa2xc2x80xc2xaf

• Previous Police/Military experience in investigative field preferable Firearm competency, handgun, rifle and shotgun trained Competency for Business Purpose
