Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the companyxe2x80x99s day-to-day operations in a designated territory or region in regard to strategy, product sales, product supply
• Provide a link between your team and upper management to ensure that each party has the same information about individual projects
• Ensure general customer satisfaction, including dispute resolution
• Branding and brand development in the area
• Delivering the required value addition from the market
• Overseeing budgeting, quality, profit & loss statements
• People management with hiring and training performance management
• Set sales targets for the agents / teams
• Offer consultation and recommendations to employees on overcoming operations/sales challenges
• Monitor sales and work toward meeting quarterly objectives to drive growth and profitability in the territory
• Minimize cost and labour by reviewing schedules and inventory use
• Manage and visit depots to evaluate operations, cleanliness and efficiency of each area
• Setting financial goals, establishing sales targets, working with upper management and using various business finance principles to accomplish tasks
• Responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans
• Travel between several offices within their territory to perform their duties and to customers

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Agri and or Science tertiary qualification
• At least 5 years or more experience in the marketing and commercial field
• At least 3 years or more experience in managing or interacting with or in a sales team
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Managerial competency and exposure at a senior level
• Computer literate
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Powerpoint
