Job Description
Join a fast-growing team in the pump industry as an Area Sales Manager, leading sales activities across Gauteng. This role focuses on building and strengthening relationships with trade customers, developers, consulting engineers, and contractors within the pumping sector. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers with a proven background in technical sales and leadership.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development and foster strong relationships
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Conduct sales forecasting and reporting
- Build in-depth product knowledge and provide expert guidance
- Offer responsive customer support
- Analyze sales performance to maximize growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for optimal outcomes
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Minimum 5 years in sales and marketing, ideally within the pump or related industry
- Experience working with developers, consulting engineers, and contractors
- Strong understanding of Gauteng's commercial building, municipal, and industrial sectors
- Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
- Proven track record of surpassing sales targets
- Valid drivers license with the willingness to travel as needed
- Proficient with CRM software and sales tools
