Job Description
- Protecting the premises and its occupants by maintaining a visible presence and enforcing security measures.
- Patrolling the premises and monitoring surveillance equipment to ensure the safety and security of the area.
- Responding to security alarms and investigating disturbances as needed.
- Deterring theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity by being alert and vigilant at all times.
- Assisting in emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures.
- Upholding company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Minimum Grade 10 or Matric.
- Valid Competency Certificate.
- PTFC Statement of Results.
- Driver's License and own reliable transport.
- PSIRA Grade C - Minimum.
- 1-3 years of armed guard experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to handle and operate firearms safely and responsibly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
