Upper Highway. Well established branding and communication agency with long standing national retail, manufacturing and others clients seeks with a strategic thinking Senior Creative with an appreciation for global trends and the ability to balance design with strategy. At least 5 years experience as an Art Director | Senior Designer, relevant Graphic Design Degree or Diploma, Adobe Creative Suite Skills and excellent knowledge and experience in e-comms and social media design is required.Art Director:

• Contributing to brainstorms, doing research and finding best practise examples and references.
• Working closely with campaign creators (lead brand designer, content strategist & creative director) to understand and appropriately interpret the campaign and shoot requirements.
• Following through the concept and creative direction on shoots through effective art direction, ensuring the concept is brought to life.
• Overseeing and getting involved in the shoot planning process in order to have context for the shoot to ensure an effective outcome:
• Model selection
• Location selection
• Styling briefs
• Lighting briefs

Senior Graphic Designer

• Create, design and ensure all creative collateral is aligned to seasonal and monthly above-the-line campaign concepts.
• Working closely with the creative director/lead designer, strategist and copywriter to honour brand direction and campaign implementation.
• Develop campaign concepts from scratch, utilizing your understanding of the brand, global trends and market relevant ideas to conceptualise
• Layout and design of all creative to finished artwork; rolling ideas out into 360xc2xb0 campaigns for all elements; windows, instore signage, visual merchandising, packaging, emailers and social media.
• Ensuring all finished artwork ready for print or digital adheres to reproduction/posting standards and specifications.
• Participate in briefing meetings and be able to contribute to roll-out and implementation ideas.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 5 years experience as a graphic designer
• Relevant degree or diploma qualification in graphic design.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Good knowledge and passion/interest in e-comms and social media design
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fast and efficient with incredible attention to detail
• Highly organised and composed under pressure
