WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


The

Artisan Assistant

is responsible for preparing, cutting, and surface cleaning components as needed. They assist Boilermakers and other artisans with various tasks during fabrication and perform ad hoc duties as required to support project progress.


Cut and prepare new material, clean components and structures Assist Artisans with tools and equipment Assist during packaging and loading of plant equipment and structures for shipment Assist Artisans during installation of structures and modules Assist with adhoc duties like plant clean-up operations Assist with loading and off-loading of deliveries Co-operate and participate in SHE functions as described in work instructions. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE


Senior National Certificate or equivalent qualification. At least 3 years' experience in the manufacturing environment. Experience as a certified forklift driver will be advantageous Experience in an explosive environment will be advantageous Good communication, planning and organizing skills Highly organized, punctual and self-motivated Ability to read and interpret technical drawings will be advantageous. Experience with ERP systems like SAP is advantageous. Energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and initiative. Good communication, planning and organising skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with multiple internal and external disciplines. WHAT WE OFFER YOU
