Komatsu South Africa is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual with at least three years of post-trade experience to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in maintenance, diagnostics, and repair to ensure the peak performance of our equipment.Qualifications:

  • A qualified HEM / Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate
Experience:
  • 3 Years' experience post trade on earth-moving equipment.
Specific knowledge and skills requirements:
  • Knowledge of earth-moving machinery systems.
  • Expertise in diagnosing/troubleshooting faults in diesel engines and equipment.
  • Proficiency in performing preventative/corrective maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Skill in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of safety procedures for heavy equipment.
  • Competence in repairing/overhauling diesel engine components.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • Experience with maintenance management systems (preferred).
Job Specification:The HEM/Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy-duty earth-moving equipment.
