The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render technical design, production, operation and maintenance services.
Minimum RequirementsAppropriate Trade Test Certificate (Radiotrician); A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.
RecommendationExperience in repair and maintenance of radio systems.
Key Performance Areas Design: Produce designs according to client specification and within limits of production capability; Production: Produce objects with material and equipment according to job specification and recognise standards; Maintenance: Inspect equipment and/or facilities for technical faults; Perform administrative and related functions: Compile and submit reports; Maintain expertise: Continuous individual development to keep up with new technologies and procedures.

RemunerationGrade A: R 230 898 - R 256 263 perannum, Grade B: R 270 915 - R 300 675 per annum, Grade C: R 314 751 -R 386 775 per annum (Salary will bedetermined as per OSD prescripts).Note on remuneration: Employees' service benefits or obligations (13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
