Its an intricate and sophisticated operation thats the product of logistical, manufacturing, and technical collaborations.About the roleWork safely within the Operations teamProvide maintenance and continuous improvement skills to deliver and improve on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and asset care.Effective use of maintenance systems dataObserve and ensure compliance to safe systems of workCompletion of Preventative maintenance activities and pro-active maintenance activitiesDeliver and improve performance targets in safety, quality, service, cost and asset care.Fully understand KPIs and the individuals influence to these.Experience / skills requiredQualificationsN6 engineering and Equivalent trade test5 years' experience as artisanMinimum of 3 years in an FMCG environment preferably in bottlingExperience -EssentialNumerical/verbal reasoning,Computer literate, MS office and SAP experienceUnderstanding of Asset Performance and maintenance philosophy with excellent Process Improvement and a solid foundation in process understanding and problem solving (eg root cause analysis)Multiskilled or willing to become (Mech , elec , process etc)Ability to work autonomously.Ability to work in a team and be an effective team member, good communication skillsHas strength of character to challenge poor team behaviours and non-adherence to standards.Functioned in an environment with FSSC accreditation with clear understanding of how maintenance influences food safety and quality.Surfaces problems and doesn't hide them.Is an ambassador for Manufacturing Excellence and continuous improvement.Responds to change in a positive and flexible manner, adaptability.Have a safe working knowledge and understand the need for maintaining legal compliance.Sound knowledge of bottling principles e.g., Labeller, Rinser, Filler, and Capping maintenanceExperience5 years experience in FMCG/Bottling EnviromentKnowledge of risk standards (Quality / H&S / Environment) Safety and hygiene compliance proceduresWorking knowledge of SAP, HarfordRole ResponsibilitiesAt all times adhere to Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, and work to all applicable legislative procedures. Responsible for Safe Systems of work.Maintain a safe and organised workplace environment through adherence to the Safety and 5S MMS practices.Provide Asset Care Technician resources (electrical and/or mechanical) to the Operations team.Accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard.Coach operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimisation and support growth in equipment capability as required.Support capital work, including installation, commissioning and testing within area as required. Responsible for feeding into early equipment management.Make full use of SAP - SAP reporting & recording completion.Review RCM activity on a weekly basis.Apply and uses MMS principles tools and techniques, contributing positively to MMS ITFs.Manage personal data in Workday e.g. P4G and personal details, My Learning Hub, ect.Attend and contribute to SIC process. Complete short interval control documentation on activities.Raise and attend 5 whys as defined by agreed trigger points. Work with Operators and team leaders to play a proactive role in situational problem solving on shift. Fixing problems and finding solutions via RCPS.Participate in line improvement projects.Engage in start of shift meetings and performance-based team meetings to raise and address persistent performance issues.Participates in daily, weekly and monthly asset care review meetings.Anticipate issues and be more proactive in approach.Support TLs & Operators to build asset care and RCPS capability.Attend all Tier 1 meetings and Tier 2 meetings as required, contribute to the agenda and complete actions as required.Add to the maintenance system by optimising work schedules to add value.All planned maintenance schedules issued to be completed on time and in full.Potential to carry out standby activities as and when required.Carry out audits and inspections on equipment deems to fall under legislative requirements.Able to run with and manage projects such eg.FI improvements.Be flexible in working hours as and when required.Excellence in Supply ChainAttend all Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings as required, contribute to the agenda and complete actions as required on time in full.Understands and uses MMS principles tools and techniques.Able to use TRACC principles.Leadership Capabilities:Win through Execution - Lead bold execution in a fast-moving world.Inspire through Purpose - Amplify our purpose internally and externally.Shape the Future - Create focus and ownership for shaping Diageos future ambition.Invest in Talent - Harness the full extent of Diageos talent and diversity.Flexible Working Statement:Flexibility is key to our success.
