This is an excellent opportunity for someone to further develop their career with an industry leading manufacturer.The ideal candidate will be based in or around Cape Town, this is a home-based role.Roles and Responsibilities:Below is a list of some tasks that you will undertake in your new role, this list is not exhaustive and will include other tasks/responsibilities:

• Undertake monthly balance sheet reconciliation preparation
• Running and preparing reports at month end and ensuring accurate reporting
• Act as the invoice manager for South Africa, ensuring purchase orders are raised and approved appropriately
• Conduct weekly calculations of payments due in different currencies and administration of this in SAP
• Support HR manager with information required for BEE audit
• Preliminary preparation of Annual Statutory Audit and support during the Audit
• Regular communication with accounts processing team as the point of contact

Your skills and experience:

• Previous experience working in Accounts is essential experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
• Degree in accounting or related discipline
• Knowledge of working with SAP would be an advantage
• Ability to work from home with internet access which will continue to work during load shedding periods
• Ability to work on your own initiative with ambition to develop your career
