Submit your CV toDuties:

• Managing an Accounts Payable team to ensure improved service levels and standards are met.
• Assist the AP Manager to ensure that the appropriate financial controls, audit processes and corrective measures are implemented to achieve clear audit reports.
• Implement actions and strategies to streamline accounting processes and reconciliations.
• Negotiating discounts with suppliers if early payments are required.
• Settling of queries and disputes with suppliers regarding payments and credit notes.
• Managing validations in the SAP system to ensure availability and eliminate errors.
• Investigating and implementing improvements of system structure of the department for optimisation.
• Recommend procedure and process changes to facilitate system enhancement, improve quality checks and streamline scanning processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours

Experience:

• 8 Years experience in a creditors role.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manager role with full responsibility of accounts payable.
• Experience in inbound and outbound transport accounting.
• SAP experience is a must.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in the integrations of AP automation processes and licensing.
• Good business acumen.
• Strong people management skills.
• Team player.
• Conflict management.
• Good communication.
