Manages event plan for entire cruise, by coordinating events and promo-tables set up and related marketing (signages, handouts, daily special, announcements) and report to the Shop Manager results.
Ensure compliance with Marketing Calendar from GVA and Model Store guidelines, reporting spending habits or preferences.
Train and coach Shop sellers & Category Specialists on effective selling skills, using checklist and coaching logs.
Manages daily sales operation including control of checks, staff rotation, stock replenishment and relevant inventory control procedures.
Main Responsibilities - ASM Inventory Control:
Ensures compliance of all inventory control procedures (Operational Calendar, managers handovers, staff rotation, perpetual inventories, daily cigarettes count, main store check) and maintain Inventory log for Profit Protection Manager.
Manage end-to-end receiving of stock on board and lockers maintenance to corporate guideline standards
Train and coach Shop Sellers & Category Specialists on effective loss prevention procedures, using checklist and coaching logs.
Essential language and level English B1 * Ability to communicate in other major European languages depending on the itinerary of the Ship, is an advantage
At least three years experience as sea-going Assistant Shop Manager with another cruise line or;
Successful completion of MSC Shops internal promotion plan from Shop Seller.
