We require an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for our Parklands branch.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting the branch manager with personnel management issues (HR related)
Assisting sales staff with customer, stock or services queries
Ensuring the biometrics clocking system is correct for all employees in the branch for payroll purposes
Relieving the cashier/receptionist when needed
Liaising with buyers regarding special orders
Assisting sales staff and customers on the floor when needed
Filing and admin of the branch
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an assistant manager in the furniture/retail industry
Must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays
Own transport essential (public transport will be acceptable, if reliable)
Must have Grade 12 / Matric
Clear criminal record
South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
Reside in/or near the area
