Job Description
A merchandiser in the clothing industry is a professional responsible for planning, selecting, and managing the inventory of clothing items to be sold in a retail store, ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities and at the right time. The successful applicant for this position will be required to assist the merchandiser by tracking and sending parcels via couriers; prepping workbooks for styles, processing samples, keeping samples and rails up to date and neat, and checking emails and e-messages throughout the day, ensuring that they are replied to timeously. Applicants should have at least 3 years office experience, excellent spoken English, be proficient in MS Excel, and be confident liaising over the phone. A valid drivers licence and own vehicle are required, as the role includes some company-related errands, with all expenses reimbursed. * What is your name?
