The assistant company secretary is responsible for assisting the company secretarial department with company secretarial administration duties in relation to subsidiary boards.
The role will develop knowledge and understanding of directors duties and responsibilities in terms of relevant laws and corporate governance practice in line with King IV, and be able to apply these principles to support good corporate governance practices, company Law and the companies constitutional documents for companies;
and provide support to the business in relation to all statutory records and information.
Minimum Qualifications:
LLB Degree or CIS
3 years secretarial admin support
Membership with Institute for Chartered Governance Institute of South Africa (previously the Chartered Secretaries of South Africa) is preferred
