Job Purpose




The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to assist with the development and implementation of technology and innovation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements




An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years experience in project management or related environment.

Recommendation




A relevant Bachelors Degree as recognised by SAQA; A valid code B Drivers License.

###

Key Performance Areas




Assist with the development and implementation of projects and programmes; Assist with the coordination of stakeholders as relevant to the development and implementation of projects and programmes; Assist with the development and implementation of the Unit's strategies; Operational Management.

Knowledge of the following: Infrastructure Development/Sector Development; Project management; Relationship management; Financial management; Public Service Regulatory Framewor; ICT; Skills needed: Numeracy; Literacy; Proven Computer Literacy, Language; Project Management; Information Technology Strategic Planning; Analytical; Financial management; Problem solving; Planning and organising; Influencing; Presentation; Communication (written and verbal); ICT and/or Innovation Sector project management; Relationship management.

Remuneration




R 444 036 - R 532 602 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits (Salary level 9)



Note on remuneration in addition Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance,pension-fund contributions, etc)a re funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.

Notes
