The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render a service which supports the fostering of a provincial identity and the protection of rights by preserving a provincial archival heritage for use by the government and the nation according to the Provincial Archives and Records Service of the Western Cape Act, 2005 (Act No. 3 of 2005).
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) majoring in Information Management Systems; A minimum of 5 years relevant electronic records management experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
RecommendationQualification in Archives and Records Management. Knowledge of managing electronic records, database and systems.
