• Proven electrical background (NQF courses required)
• Completed practicals and Graduates welcome!
• Problem solving ability and the ability to work unsupervised
• Must be physically and medically fit and able, to work in the cold at -20xc2xb0 Celsius, for varying lengths of time
• Have the ability to work at heights
• Be able to read basic electrical drawings
• Be prepared to work weekends, if and when required
• Computer literate advantages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Be disciplined and pay attention to detail following procedures is of utmost importance
• Ability to perform administrative duties
• Have the ability to work with a diverse cultural mix of people
• Valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
• Clear criminal record

Duties and ResponsibilitiesManufacturing

• Manufacture electrical mobile related panels and parts as per drawing
• Test and Repair Motors
• Site Work: To assist on site with new and existing installations when needed. This may necessitate travelling for extended periods of time
• Assist on site with Repairs and Maintenance
• Attend to Callouts
• Fault-finding and problem solving
• Test and Repair Motors
• Repair electrical mobile related panels and parts as per drawing

Tools & Workshop

• Ensure that the workshop is kept clean at all times
• Ensure that H&S standards are being maintained and adhered to
• Maintain all Company electrical hand tools in accordance with the manufacturers specifications
• Ensuring that tools are kept in their designated areas
• Ensuring the safe working order of the tools
• Packing tools away at the end of the day
• Problem solving ability and a can-do attitude

Admin responsibilities:

• Complete daily timesheets
• Complete job cards
• Assist with stock and deliveries when and if required
• Checking and upkeep of company vehicles
