Job Title: Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to assist in overseeing the food and beverage operations at our establishment. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure exceptional service, quality, and overall guest satisfaction. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating all activities related to food and beverage operations.
2. Ensure the food and beverage department complies with all applicable health, safety, and hygiene standards.
3. Supervise and train staff members, setting clear expectations and providing necessary guidance to ensure outstanding performance.
4. Oversee the daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
5. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop and implement strategies to meet financial targets and improve profitability.
6. Maintain a positive working relationship with vendors and negotiate agreements to ensure the best quality products at competitive prices.
7. Continuously assess customer satisfaction by regularly reviewing customer feedback, addressing concerns, and implementing necessary improvements.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote and increase sales.
9. Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage outlets to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
10. Stay updated with current industry trends, competitor offerings, and innovations, and make recommendations for improvements based on market research.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
2. Strong knowledge and understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, staffing, and quality control.
3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive and personalized guest experience.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Solid computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to ensure compliance.
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
10. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
