Assistant / Junior Bookkeeper

Job Description


A prestigious specialized Medical Practice is in search of a Bookkeeper proficient in English to handle financial transactions, oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and generate financial reports.Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

  • Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
  • Reconciling taxes, payroll taxes and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Monitoring financial transactions and reports.
  • Processing accounts receivable and payable.
  • Processing checks.
  • Understanding ledgers.
  • Working with an accountant when necessary.
  • Handling monthly payroll using accounting software.
  • Prepare all financials for the Accountant
  • Process all PAYE and Practice Taxes
Bookkeeper Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • High school diploma.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software.
  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.
Other:
  • Hours are 7.30am until 2.30pm Monday to Thursday .
  • Every alternate Friday 8-4
  • Salary negotiable depending on past experience and previous salary
