:DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the management team in various operational, financial, and administrative activities. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring efficient business operations while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.These persons will form part of our production personnel. What that entails are that they will be responsible for a variety of clients and services as part of our billable fees to clients. (As confirmation - Our main business is accounting, tax and advisory work.)Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and supervise junior staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide support in budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Conduct regular audits and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, invoices, and other financial transactions.
  • Support management in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Certifications such as PA(SA) and CA(SA) or other similar qualifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent professional accounting practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
