URBAN MOBILITY Assistant Professional Officer-Traffic Engineering
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree/BTech in Civil Engineering (Transport)
Up to two (2) years' relevant experience in traffic engineering
Experience within the traffic signals environment, specifically
in traffic analysis, will be advantageous
A valid Code B driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
Good analytical skills
Must be prepared to work outside of normal working
hours, including weekends, when required
Key Performance Areas
Undertake operational analysis of traffic signals, design of
traffic signal timing and layout plans
Conduct on-street investigations to assess the efficacy of
traffic signal timing plans
Assist the Senior Professional Officer: Traffic Signal Analysis
and provide technical support within the traffic signals analysis
unit
Review traffic signal design drawings for the installation/
upgrade of traffic signals in accordance with SARTSM
Communicate professional knowledge, research or
investigations to internal and external Stakeholders
Communicate with external parties to address queries
or complaints
Perform reporting and administration
