Job Description


Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Westcliff, JohannesburgResponsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior staff, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all meal periods.
  • Hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff, and maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests.
  • Ensure a consistent service level in all outlets, anticipate, in advance, all materials and supplies, and assure their availability.
  • Complete and conduct performance evaluations for employees and maintain a daily log of communication between restaurant staff and upper management.
  • Promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in fine dining establishments.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
  • Strong communication skills and fast-paced experience.
  • Passionate Food & Beverage operator, following the current trends.
  • The ability to communicate in English fluently.
Remuneration:
  • R27 000 per month plus benefits.
