  • Perform requested technical jobs within the Hospital
  • Identify and control risk in the technical environment within the Hospital
  • Coordinate and monitor work done by on-site contractors within the Hospital
  • Perform office administration duties within the Technical Department
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within Technical Department
Lead and manage the people in the Technical team (where applicable)Manage and control department budgets / finances (where applicable)REQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATIONNQF level 6 qualification in the engineering field with a major focus on electrical, mechanical or chemical disciplines, with the following subjects (thermodynamics; electro engineering)REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE6 years' relevant post graduate experienceIn case of internal promotions only:10 years relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years hospital experience and passed MCC oral by General Manager Technical OperationsREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Driverxc3x83xc2xafxc3x82xc2xbfxc3x82xc2xbds license
  • Experience in fault- finding/analysis
  • Experience in report writing
  • Experience in working in a team
  • Financial and budgeting principles
  • General experience in building maintenance
  • Microsoft suite (excel, word, outlook)
  • Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant regulatory requirements
