• To follow up on work as per vehicle inspection report sent by the lodges and H.O.Ds
• Service Schedule
• Services of Vehicle, Plant and Generators

Administration:

• Assist with Month End
• Assist with Stock Take
• Recharges
• Experience with Stock Control and accounting

Spares:

• Management of stores and stock.
• Ordering of spares

Workshop Staff:

• Health & Safety
• Oversee team of mechanics and daily work schedule
• Oversee workshop operations when Manager away

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
• Standard of your work must exceed the standard of the lodge
• Good organisational ability
• Lateral thinking ability
• Initiative
• Must adhere to World Class Hospitality and Service Standards

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Hospitality
• Environment
• The surrounding communities
• The country
• Company Knowledge (&BEYOND as well as Wild Impact)
• Valid unendorsed SA drivers license essential.
• Qualified Diesel or Petrol Mechanic or qualified in time (4 years +) preferable
• Welding and panel beating experience will be an advantage

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Must have at least 3 5 years experience supervising in a vehicle workshop

This is a permanent live-in position, based at Phinda Private Game Reserve. Transport to/from leave cycles is the successful candidates own responsibility.We reserve the right to not make an appointment
