Job Description
Are you a qualified Attorney with at least three years of post-articles experience in collections, particularly in Home Loans?Our client, based in Cape Town City Centre, is seeking an Associate Attorney with in-depth knowledge of the National Credit Act.The Right of Appearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Extensive experience in Collections, with emphasis on Home Loans.
- Advanced knowledge of the National Credit Act
- Proven team leader skills
- Own vehicle and drivers license.
- Ensure compliance with the South African National Credit Act (NCA)
- Liaise with clients
- Check drafted letters of demand, summonses, notices and applications
- Manage staff
- Brief counsel and attend court where necessary
- Right of Appearance is compulsory
