Associate Attorney - Commercial

Location: Greenside, Johannesburg (Rosebank footprint)

Are you a skilled legal professional with a passion for commercial law? We are seeking a

dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney

to join a dynamic boutique law firm specializing in commercial legal matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced Principal Attorney and gain exposure to a variety of legal and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice on commercial matters, transactions, compliance, and litigation

Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements

Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with national and international laws

Consult with clients and represent them in legal proceedings

Support in negotiations and facilitate business transactions

Manage billing, invoicing, and administrative legal tasks

Requirements:

Qualifications

: LLB degree (Completed PLT is an advantage)

Admission

: Admitted Attorney in South Africa with the right of appearance in the High Court

Experience

:

2-5 years post-admission, commercial law experience is essential

Skills

: Excellent drafting, research, and negotiation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software

Other

: Own reliable transport, valid driver's license, and ability to drive a manual car
