Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage a team of engineers in the development of highway designs.
Review and approve the work done by subordinates to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Utilize software like Civil3D and 12D in the design process.
Contribute engineering expertise to the planning and design of highway projects.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited university is required; a Master of Science or Engineering is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Prior experience in highway design is necessary.
Professional registration as an Engineer with ECSA or another relevant professional body is required; candidates with Pr.Tech will not be considered.
Proficiency in Civil3D and 12D software is essential.

The preferred candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, a high level of technical competency, and a keen attention to detail.
