My client is seeking an Associate Finance Controller to join their dynamic team and support their financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Provide financial services to various departments, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal controls.
• Accounts & Transactions Management: Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Register (FAR), Cashbook (CB), Trial Balance (TB), and Petty Cash.
• Asset & Expenditure Control: Monitor depreciation, CAPEX, OPEX expenditure, and asset management to drive cost efficiency.
• Risk Management: Support the Financial Controller in mitigating bad debt risks and ensure adequate insurance coverage on company assets.
• Contract & Compliance: Review financial contracts for risks, ensure internal controls are maintained, and comply with JSOX and Stravis requirements.
• Audit & Reporting: Manage annual financial statements, facilitate external/internal audits, and conduct financial analyses to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Budget & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, contribution margin reports, and variance analysis.
• Process Improvement: Support the finance team in implementing new policies, procedures, and operational efficiency projects.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Completed SAIPA Articles.
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
